Experience/Skills Requirements:
- 4+ years of Server side Java development
- Experience in threading, synchronization
- Experience in software internationalization
- Experience designing and developing large-scale web applications
- Knowledge of Java web technologies: Servlets, Struts, JSP, Taglibs, Velocity, ExtJS
- Experience integrating 3rd party libraries and packages (ie, search engines)
- 4+ years of UNIX/Linux experience required
- Object Oriented Development experience
- In-depth knowledge of build systems (QuickBuild, Ant, Maven) and source control (Subversion, CVS)
- Relational DB experience required, Sybase and UDB experience preferred
- Programming in Perl and shell scripts
- Cursory knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP, HTTPS)
- Strong communication skills
- Motivated and self-starter
- Attention to quality and detail
