Responsibilities:
Maintain, enhance and support features in the sales order management system. Developer will focus mainly on:
- Enhancements to existing Java and C++ servers to support the following business functions:
Trade booking - Order history queries
- Client and product reference data queries
- Compliance-driven enhancements and queries
- Enhancements to the Client Connectivity Tool (aka CCT) web-application; CCT is used to store client reference data and preferences related to automated electronic order management
- Day to day production support
Position Description:
The Sales Order Management Technology team is responsible for the design, development, and support of systems to manage orders for sales traders. The system is comprised of an MFC/C++ GUI and various server side components written in C++ and Java. The GUI is used by 200+ sales traders across the US to enter and manage orders for US shares and listed options. We process approximately 6,000 orders per day of which 90% are submitted electronically by clients using the Fix protocol.
